Fife Pride and Surge are offering the exciting opportunity to take part in free street theatre workshops and performances in Fife in September 2022 as part of Fife Pride.
This would involve rehearsing with Surge at their street theatre workshops, where you will be given the chance to learn the skills to become a street performer and to try out Surge’s street theatre acts. You will then take to the streets to try out what you’ve learned.
No experience of street theatre is necessary – just a willingness to try out new things!

DATES: you should be available 2 workshop days (or evenings) + 1 performance day in Kirkcaldy over the following dates:
Workshops: : Sat 10th and Sun 11th September 10am – 4.30pm OR Thurs 15th and Fri 16th September 6pm – 8.30pm.
Performance: Sat 17th September as part of Fife Pride. You will take part in the parade then perform your street theatre acts after the parade as part of the Fife Pride celebrations in Kirkcaldy town centre.
Participants must be aged 13 + (no upper age limit).
(Please note that while the performance is in Kirkcaldy we are willing to travel within Fife if you are in a group that meets elsewhere – please get in touch with Karen to discuss this further).
